CASA of Lexington trains and supports Woodford County volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the local family court system. CASA volunteers give 5-10 hours per month visiting their matched children, gathering information and compiling reports that help judges make more informed decisions. CASA volunteers can help children get more services while they are in the system and get them returned to safe, permanent homes faster, giving them more of their childhoods back.
