Operations Supervisor
Kentucky Performance Products is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our fast-growing company.
The Operations Supervisor will work with and assistant the Director of Operations in overseeing,
coordinating and participating in daily warehouse and production activities. This is a hands on multitask
position. The successful candidate must possess the ability and willingness to perform physical work as
well as exhibiting the necessary computer skills to maintain and manage warehouse and production
documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
This is a supervisor’s position which will require strong people and management skills. Position requires
a strong drive to succeed and grow in the position. Must be eager to tackle new challenges with an
open mind and present solutions. Ability to work as a team player and coordinate with other
departments. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office,
specifically in Word and Excel. Willingness to work overtime during busy times. Must be able to
optimize operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality
standards. Experience driving a forklift ideal, but not necessary, will train the right candidate. The ideal
candidate should have a bachelor’s degree, however candidates with a high school diploma with a
strong desire to learn new skills and succeed will be considered.
Responsibilities
• Supervise warehouse and production staff.
• Receive shipments.
• Pull and pack orders.
• Organize and maintain inventory integrity as well as conduct cycle counts.
• Load and unload all inbound and outbound shipments and complete required paperwork.
• Supervise warehouse and production staff.
• Assure quality of goods and keep up with all special customer requirements.
• Determine and assign workload, identify areas of improvement and establish innovative work
procedures and practices.
• Assist in purchasing, monitoring stock, entering purchase orders, and all other paperwork
associated with incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Assist in creating an atmosphere which encourages motivation, innovation, and high
performance.
• Work closely with other departments on refining processes and procedures.
• This is a manual labor position; the applicant must be able to lift/maneuver up to 50 pounds.
