1. Serves in a leadership position and works collaboratively with the Executive

Director for overall management of organization.

2. Supervise Director of Volunteer Management, Advancement Coordinator and

Events Coordinator.

3. Oversee and manage all program data and input in database system.

4. Perform weekly reports to ensure complete and accurate data has been entered on

each case.

5. Assure the maintenance of all case files through random monthly file reviews,

ensuring data is kept up to date in database.

6. Perform annual compliance check with all case files.

7. Work with Executive Director on required reporting.

8. Oversee CASA of Lexington’s fundraising efforts including annual giving, major

gifts, partnerships, development-related marketing, fundraising events and any

major gifts campaigns.

9. Cultivate, steward and nurture relationships with current and potential donors.

10. Oversee donor database.

11. Research grant opportunities to support the organization.

12. Interact and communicate professionally, pleasantly and effectively with all

partners of CASA.

13. Prepare and lead presentations on CASA.

14. Ensure that National and KY CASA standards and statues are met.

15. Meet annual goals set for position/program.

16. Any other reasonable duties as assigned.


Qualifications of Deputy Director position: Master’s degree preferred. Bachelors level

degree required. Experience with development activities, special events, staff

supervision, and database management. Excellent writing, interpersonal, organizational,

presentation and public speaking skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with

quick adaptability and attention to detail required.

Conditions of Employment: Flexible schedule includes regular office hours and frequent

evening and weekend work. Bending and lifting when setting up for events, moving

donations, etc. Standing for long periods of time when making presentations, at special

events, etc. Must have daily transportation in order to attend meetings and represent

CASA in public.
