Leadership Woodford Program Overview

Program Format

--> Begins with a mandatory overnight orientation session

--> Followed by monthly full-day sessions

--> Focus areas include: community engagement, leadership development, team-building, and topical learning

--> Final group project due by graduation in May

Orientation Session

--> Meet fellow participants and learn program guidelines

--> Participate in team-building and problem-solving activities

--> Complete a personality profile

--> Engage in physical and mental challenges to enhance:

Leadership skills

Communication

Conflict management

Decision-making

Participant Expectations

Commitment

--> Attendance is mandatory – no more than 2 absences allowed

--> Missing more than 2 sessions will result in dismissal from the program

--> Re-enrollment may be considered the following year

--> Participants must commit time and energy to ensure a meaningful experience

--> Employer or self-sponsorship should support this time commitment
